Get the full benefit from your new Carbs and high flow mufflers by bypassing the H box. These pipe Sets (2) are custom designed for the CX500, GL500, CX650, GL650 etc., for an application where the pipes will be mounted in the stock location, horizontal to the ground. Pipes come marked to take the guesswork out of determining the side and front mount.
Easy installation, just weld (tig or mig) to the joint ring at the front. The pipes are 1 3/4″OD so any muffler slides over and clamps onto them.
The pipes can be trimmed at the front or the rear, You can trim up to 2 inches at the front and up to 6 at the back to allow for lining up the mounting brackets to fit your application.
These custom pipes sweep around the foot peg mounts and allow for free movement of the stock shifter and brake pedal. They are available in 2 styles as shown in the photo.
These work for any of the CX or GL V-twins.

These pipes were excellent . I did not weld them on . I had the pipe enlarged at the end so I could slip them on to the front pipe & used a muffler clamp to hold it on. The mufflers I used just slipped right on & also clamped good & solid. Really all great .

Works as advertised. I actually used the left side pipe as a starting point to build my own 2 into 1 exhaust. Having the bends on the left side needed to get past the brake lever and foot peg at the beginning really simplified the build after that. Murray was very helpful, and always responded within a day when I had questions.
