Murray’s Suzuki Boulevard LS650 S40 Savage Carburetor Kit is a truly bolt on solution and upgrade to your old stock carburetor. After a quick 20-30 minute install you’ll be riding away with more horsepower, a lot more torque and unmatched throttle response. Each carburetor kit goes through rigorous testing during development to ensure we are delivering the best carbs on the market. Your carburetor kit will be delivered pre-jetted to your motorcycles specifications.
There are two variants to Murray’s Suzuki Boulevard LS650 S40 Savage Carburetor Kit. The first includes a 3-ply silicone intercooler connector kit to utilise the stock air box (no uni filter supplied), or if you are going to remove the airbox the second variant includes a Uni filter in place of the silicone hose.
Both kits includes an intake spigot matched to the head size, a Suzuki -> Mikuni throttle cable.
Here are some pics for the airbox-retaining option:

I was annoyed at first that I got this kit with no installation instructions. It was that much more satisfying that I was able to install it anyway. Triple bonus that the bike fired right up perfectly and the carb was already tuned to ride. I would recommend Murray’s kit to anyone.

While this works great, on my 2005 there was intake hose clearance issues with the plastic, chromish battery cover. You may need to get a bit creative. Also, you will need to change how you use your petcock. There’s no vacuum to suck gas from tank like the stock carb. The bike will consequently not run with the petcock in “on.” It will run on “prime” just fine. BUT you will not have a reserve! Hence you don’t know you’re out of gas until you’re OUT OF GAS. You can replace your stock petcock with one from a Yamaha Raptor. It merely drains. The problem for this work-around is the hose attachment. It seems smaller and you may want to pay up and not get the cheap Chinese one ($20) and get the actual Yamaha one ($60). Happy trails!

we recommend disabling the vacuum petcock or using the raptor one

Worked great! Had a small problem with my bike not wanting to idle after putting on the new carb and contacted them, they told me exactly what to do! Was super friendly and the carb was super easy to put on out of the box!

Works great! I got it setup between the airbox and the engine, and she started right up. Runs better than ever.

Excellent, excellent product. Thrilled with this carb setup, went from odd idle and mixture issues on the stock rebuilt carb, to perfect idle and a very nice bump in torque and overall speed/response through the whole RPM range. Exactly what was promised, I’d buy another carb setup from these guys instantly if I needed one.
